Ambitions (2026-2031)

‘Ambitions: accelerating transitions in the built environment by aligning values’

Various transitions come together in the built environment. Desired developments in the areas of energy, circularity and preventive health therefore regularly conflict with each other, delaying transitions. We investigate how parallel transitions can be accelerated by better understanding and dealing with these conflicts. We do this by looking at underlying public values. On this basis, we develop strategies and tools that help organizations and individuals to jointly realize public values and connect these with their own values.
